Art, Art making, and creativity is an essential part of my identity. I abruptly lost the use of my hands after I developed a rare debilitating syndrome. This artwork explores my experiences navigating disability and ongoing recovery. These pieces in watercolor, graphite, and ink depict concepts of medical trauma through highly personal self-portraits confronting my grief, loss, and isolation.
